The home was built in 1900 for William Bear and was moved to the Village of Niobrara and modernized in 2008. There are 180-degree views of the Missouri River and the Standing Bear Bridge, from every part of the home. Entering through the front door is the original main level of the house. The wood floors, doors and accents built in 1900, remain intact. Adding to the beauty of the parlor is a Diamond Willow staircase built by Keith Eckmann in 2008.
